St. Symphorien Military Cemetery [Statistics]
This is a beautiful joint Commonwealth/German cemetery. A bit off the beaten path it is well worth a visit. George Price, killed at 10:58 on 11 November 1918, the last Canadian killed in the First World War is one of 2 Canadians buried in the Cemetery. Price's grave is only a few meters from several German Graves, perhaps emphasizing that all are equal in death. The last British soldier killed, George Ellison, is also buried here.
