Service Biography

Gordon Neil Meikle was born at Ormstown, Quebec, on 9 January 1899. A farmer living at Nokomis, Saskatchewan, he enlisted at Regina on 16 July 1918 and served in Canada as a private with Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadians). He was discharged at Calgary, Alberta, on 29 November 1918 following reduction of the forces.
