Service Biography

Adelbert Martel was born at Sainte-Clotilde, Quebec, on 23 July 1897. A single farmer living at Sainte-Clotilde, he was drafted under the Military Service Act and joined at Montreal on 17 July 1918 as Private 3167482. He served in Canada with the 2nd Depot Battalion, 2nd Quebec Regiment. He was discharged at Montreal on 20 March 1919 on demobilization.
