Service Biography

Albert Peladeau was born in Beauharnois County, Quebec, on 10 March 1897. A single Roman Catholic farmer living at St-Clement-de-Beauharnois, he was drafted under the Military Service Act and entered active Canadian Expeditionary Force service at Montreal on 19 August 1918 as Private 3165786. He served in Canada with the 2nd Depot Battalion, 2nd Quebec Regiment and was on farmer's leave during the demobilization period. He was formally struck off strength at Montreal on 4 February 1919.
