Service Biography

Olivier Parent was born at Saint-Jean-Chrysostome, Quebec, on 11 May 1897. A farmer living at Aubrey, Quebec, he was drafted under the Military Service Act and joined the Canadian Expeditionary Force at Montreal on 3 August 1918 as Private 3170173 with the 2nd Depot Battalion, 2nd Quebec Regiment. His service remained in Canada. He was struck off strength on return to the Registrar's Records effective 3 September 1918, and his discharge was subsequently processed under demobilization authority.

Born at Saint-Jean-Chrysostome, Quebec, on 11 May 1897. At examination he was a single Roman Catholic farmer residing at Aubrey, Quebec. He was 5 ft 2 in tall, weighed 105 lb, and had a chest measurement of 30 to 32.5 in. His complexion, eyes and hair were brown.
