Service Biography

Herve Primeau was born at St. Philomene, Quebec, on 25 January 1894. A single Roman Catholic farmer from St-Louis-de-Gonzague, he enrolled at Montreal on 16 August 1918 under the Military Service Act as Private 3172056 with the 2nd Depot Battalion, 2nd Quebec Regiment, Canadian Expeditionary Force. He served in Canada and was discharged at Montreal on 22 February 1919 on farmer's leave.
