Service Biography

Wilfrid Prevost was born at St. Chrysostome, Quebec, on 5 July 1895. A single Roman Catholic farmer, he was drafted under the Military Service Act and enlisted at Montreal on 23 August 1918 as Private 3167505 with the 2nd Depot Battalion, 2nd Quebec Regiment, Canadian Expeditionary Force. He served in Canada and was discharged at Montreal on 18 March 1919 under demobilization arrangements.
