Service Biography

Roch Tremblay was born at Saint-Rémi, Quebec, on 10 June 1897. A farmer living at Châteauguay, Quebec, he was drafted under the Military Service Act and joined the 1st Depot Battalion, 1st Quebec Regiment, at Montreal on 25 July 1918. He served in Canada as a private. His record includes several periods of absence or leave during 1918. He was discharged at Montreal on 17 January 1919 on demobilization.
