Service Biography

Romeo Rose was born at Ste. Philomene, Quebec, on 27 November 1897, the son of Evariste Rose. A farmer, he was drafted under the Military Service Act and enlisted at Montreal on 17 July 1918 as Private 3171013. He reported on 1 August and served in Canada with the 2nd Depot Battalion, 2nd Quebec Regiment, Canadian Expeditionary Force. Rose was discharged at Montreal on demobilization on 13 March 1919.
