Service Biography
Lyndsay Hope Ross was born at Richmond, Quebec, on 9 April 1894. A packer living at Beauharnois, Quebec, he was drafted under the Military Service Act and entered Canadian Expeditionary Force service at Montreal on 25 April 1918 as Private 3083787. He initially served with the 1st Depot Battalion, 1st Quebec Regiment, before transferring to the Canadian Army Medical Corps. His medical service included A.M.C. Training Depot No. 4, Drummond Medical Convalescent Hospital and Montreal Military Hospital. From 27 January to 2 February 1919 he was treated in Montreal for an infected foot and returned fit for duty. Ross was discharged at Montreal on General Demobilization on 13 August 1919.

Training Depot No. 4. His later records identify Montreal Military Hospital as his final Canadian Army Medical Corps unit. He was discharged on General Demobilization.
