New Liskeard's Killed
News has been received that
Billy Wallace and
Alfred Pilkington, two young Englishmen who were living here when the war broke out, and enlisted with the first contingent, were poisoned with gases at the great battle last week. Billy Wallace was a brother of Harry Wallace whose home is here, and Alfred Pilkington was a brother of
Louis Pilkington who was an employee of the Speaker for several years. His father lives here. They were loyal young men, and freely gave their lives for their country.
