News from Pte, Thicke

Mr. Thicke is in receipt of a letter from Charlie, from England, dated the 10th and written on his 24th birthday. In it he mentions the air raid at Folkestone, the night before, and states both airship and submarine were taken. His Company was inspected by Gen. Steele that morning and they were told that they would all see France before going back home. The boys who have not yet gone over are very anxious to go, and they are looking forward to a move very soon.
