Letter from Pte. P. Bilow

Mr. Bilow is in receipt of a letter from Percy from England, dated Sept. 23rd, in which he says he was leaving that Saturday for France. He and Billy Beswitherwick were together and had joined the 42nd Kilts which is the famous Black Watch Company. The boys were anxious to get busy and transferred for this reason. They were two of ten men selected. He enclosed a photo of himself in his kilts and looks very fine.
