Local Boys Enlist
During the week Messrs. Angus McLean and W.E. Thomas underwent medical examination at Haileybury and have enlisted with the Third Contingent, while Messrs. Charlie Wilder and Howard Hoover have also undergone medical examination, and having successfully passed the test, expect to join the 4th Contingent which will shortly be mobolized. The boys are to be congratulated on their determination to fight in the ranks for the Empire, and from the remarks we hear on the street, a number of other local young men are anticipating taking similar steps.
