Receives Honors
Sergt. R. Beavis, of Peterborough, who has received serious injuries which will incapacitate him for further service, and who is still in a London, England, hospital, has received the D.S.M., the Legion of Honor, and is to be presented with the Cross of St. George, a Russian decoration. The city of Peterborough are considering the sending of the Sergeant's mother to London to convey to him the city's congratulations on the honor won by him. The Sergeant is a cousin of Mr. Leslie Murray of this town.
