Hears from Sons at Firing Line
Mr. Bilow is in receipt of letters from both his sons, Pte. Earl, in the 48th Highlanders, and Pte. Percy with the Black Watch. Both are in active service in France. Earl writes Dec. 10, that he was better of the illness which placed him in the Hospital and was going back to his Company the following day. He had seen Roy Clark. The weather was rainy and cold. All the boys comment unfavourably about the weather.

Percy writes that he had received some parcels. He says the Army feeds the boys well, and that out of eight of them in the one hut, seven had parcels and that they all had a great time. They had thirteen different kinds of cake, etc. He had met Enos Grant a few days before writing. Enos went with the first contingent. They both write cheerfully and confidently.
