Dear Folks at Home:-
I haven’t time to write a letter this time but am just dropping this line to let you know that I am O.K.
I have been “marked out” of hospital and expect to leave here next Wednesday.  There is some sort of party for us nearly every day and we are surely having a  busy time.
Received father’s letter of Oct 4th but no sign of the box yet.  Will write to Norfolk a bout it.
This is all for now and will write again at first opportunity.
Lovingly
John
